6/25/2020 12:00:00 AM The Houston Chronicle interviews Dr. Gerald Parker, director of the Pandemic and Biosecurity Policy Program, and Dr. Peter Hotez, Senior Fellow at the Hagler Institute at Texas A&M and dean of the National School of Tropical Medicine at Baylor, about their calls for an investigation into the national COVID-19 response. The two experts recently outlined their ideas for an investigation similar to the 911 Commission in an episode of the miniseries COVID-19: The Texas A&M System Responds. The purpose of the commission would be to learn from mistakes made and be better prepared for the next pandemic. The Houston Chronicle article can be read here. Read NBC 5's coverage here.
