The Scowcroft Institute of International Affairs at the Bush School of Government and Public Service invites you to attend our 5th Annual Pandemic Policy Summit.

This year’s Summit will be a half-day conference focused on current outbreaks and the findings of students from a pandemic simulation.

For the past five years, the Scowcroft Institute and its partner organizations have hosted a Pandemic Policy Summit as part of our Pandemic Policy Initiative. The Summit brings together political leaders, researchers, practitioners, and the private sector to discuss issues in pandemic preparedness and biosecurity. Participants come from diverse backgrounds, including biodefense response organizations, U.S. government institutions, multilateral and nongovernmental organizations, private sector partners, developing countries, foundations, think tanks, and other institutions critical for an improved pandemic response, biodefense, and health security.

The event will be led by Andrew Natsios, Director of the Scowcroft Institute and former USAID Administrator, and moderated by Dr. Gerald Parker, Director of the Pandemic and Biosecurity Policy Program and former Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of ASPR.

This Summit is both policy and practicum focused and will result in a White Paper to be distributed to key decision makers for further discussion. Past White Papers can be found here: https://bush.tamu.edu/scowcroft/white-papers/.
